Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230

Replaces the Machinery Directive with updated essential health and safety requirements for machinery placed on the EU market, including new provisions for software-driven and collaborative machines.

Industrial Emissions Directive (IED II)

Requires operators of large industrial installations to hold an integrated permit, apply Best Available Techniques (BAT), and report emissions to air, water, and land to national authorities.

Vehicle Type-Approval Framework Regulation

Establishes the procedures for type-approval of motor vehicles and their components before market placement, covering safety, environmental, and functional requirements.

End-of-Life Vehicles Directive

Sets collection, dismantling, and recycling obligations for vehicles at end of service, requiring manufacturers to design for disassembly and meet material recovery targets.

Non-road Mobile Machinery Regulation (NRMM)

Sets emission limit values for engines used in non-road mobile machinery – including excavators, forklifts, construction equipment, and industrial generators – covering NOx, particulates, and CO.

Construction Products Regulation (CPR)

Requires manufacturers of construction products to draw up a Declaration of Performance and affix CE marking, demonstrating that products meet harmonised technical specifications for use in buildings and civil engineering works.
